This program needs for correct execution the MailManager by Pino Alberti
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Introduction
==============
1.0. Legal Stuff
-----------------
MM_CreateTIC is a utility for Mail Manager by Pino Aliberti to replace
the missing, better: not implemented, function Auto-CreateTIC.
The programs and files in this archive are free distriutable, but are
copyrighted by © Ulrich Lammers. This archiv may be freely distributed as
long as no more than a nominal fee is charged for copying costs.
A commercial usage is permitted without written permission by the author.
This archiv and all of its components and files must be kept together in
original, unmodified archive and form.
MM_CreateTIC is Shareware :-). This means if you use the program longer
than the evaluation period of thirty(30) days, you will have to register.
That means you have to send the programmer 10.- DEM and will receive a
KeyFile
The only condition to use MM_CreateTIC is to accept these few rules.
==============================================================================
The autor has no responsibility for problems or the loss of data while
using this program !!!!!! It's your own risk.
==============================================================================
1.1 How to register?
------------------------
If you find this programm useful and you want to use it longer than the
evaluation period of 30 days, then you should register.
You will have to pay 10DM OR 7 US $ to the autor.
There is an very simple way to register: you have to execute the file
Reg_CreateTIC in the /BIN directory of this distribution..
Be sure that MM is already running, open a shell and enter:
"Run <Dir>/Reg_CreateTIC" [(without quotes, please ;-)].
The program will ask you for some informations. When it is all ok
then there will be a registry-Mail in your Netmail-Folder.
Please check the Mail and export if it is all right.
As soon your Mail arrives at my system AND I find on by bank-account 10DM or
7 US $ from you (Please, don't forgot your name in the bank-order!!), I will
build your *personal* *keyfile*, which will work only on *YOUR* system.
This file will reside on my System on HOLD.
When you have got .key from my system, you have to copy it in the directory
MM:Config/ and rename it to MM_CreateTIC.key.

2. Features
===========
MM_CreateTIC ...
... will create tickareas in Mailmanager automatically.
... free choice of nodes for the AutoCreate-Feature
... supports TickCommands
... defines all options via *.Cfg
... unlimited number of nodes with the permission of creating new areas.
... AutoADD - full automatical subscribing of nodes/points of new
generated areas.
3. Installation
===============
1. Copy the files to the typical MM: directories
2. Edit the .CFG to your needs.
3. Call the program in your Import-script (e.g. MM_ImportPlus.rexx) _before_
executing the Tic-Commands.
4. Usage
========
[Run] MM_CreateTIC
5. Configuration
================
[MM:Config/CreateTIC.Cfg]
All Config parameter are explained below. Have a close look at the
example-configuration !!
5.1 #INBOUND <Path>
============
This is the INBOUND: of MM. We have to look in the *.TIC Files for new
TicAreas.
Bsp..: #INBOUND Inbound:
5.2 CREATEFOR <Node 3D>,<Group>,<Level>,<Path>,[TickCommand],[ADDNodes]
========================================================================
Here we configure the nodes, which are enabled to create new TickAreas.
It is _VERY_ important to seperate the fields by commata.
NODE 3D Nodenumber in 3D format of the node which may generate
new TickAreas on your System.
GROUP This is the group of the new TickArea. It is important
that this group exists also in your MM.CFG, because MM
would exit with an error. (please have a look to your
MM manual.
LEVEL Level of the new TickArea.
PATH In this path will MM_CreateTic put the directories
of the new generated TickAreas.
It is important, that the pathname ends with an ':'or
an '/'.
TICKCOMMAND Here can be set a TickCommand for the new TickArea.
See the MM manual for more information aout TickCommands.
ADDNODE You can put here some nodes/points which will be linked
automatically to the new generated area.
!! The format is the same as in MM.Config !!
Example 1.:
#CREATEFOR 2:2426/3000,FidoNet,30,Files_B:Fido/,Fido_Import,1015 3290.26 .4 .10
In this example node '2:2426/3000' would e enabled to generate new TickAreas.
They would all be in GROUP 'FidoNet' with the level '30'. Their directories
will e generated in 'Files_B:Fido/' .All of them would use the 'TICKCOMMAND'
'Fido_IMPORT' (a script). Points 26,4,10 and node '2:2426/1015.0' will be
automatically linkt to the new TickArea. Simple.
Example 2.:
#CREATEFOR 2:2426/3000,FidoNet,30,Files_B:Fido/,,
The same as above, but here we will use no TickCommand and no single
node/point will e linked to the area.
5.3 FILELIST [Path/File],[KEYWORD]
==================================
Here we can put the new Tickarea into the config of our filelist-utility.
PATH/FILE path & filename of your filelister.CFG
KEYWORD Often a keyword is required by the Filelist-generator.
You can put it here if you need some.
Example : #FILELIST WB:NFLG/NFLG.ALL,DIRECTORY
This would, for example, add the line
DIRECTORY Files_B:Fido/Nodediffs
to the CFG-file 'WB:NFLG/NFLG.CFG'.
7. Ackknowledgements
